BATAM TRIP 15-18Sept! YES! I'M BACK FROM THE BATAM TRIP. IT WAS HELL FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had hell lots of new experiences, the activities, the crapness, the crankyness and th 60+new friends which i made in 3 days. AWESOME! 15th SEPTEMBER Met up at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Was feeling awkard at the beginning coz i only know kelly and justin ong. things started to warm up and we chatted for 1 hour before entering the gantry & our journey began! anw, i hate seasick. the floating platform was freaking shaky and i had that nausea feeling for that entire gay 30mins trip. haha Departure:  Nyo!Dylan!Justin!Joshua!  cool guys man! REACHED BATAM headed for the 1st briefing!  Sucky steep slopes!>:(  Hotel Lobby!  Hotel Lobby! headed for the 1st briefing! conducted by DD(?), he told us the various activities which we'll be trying out and the expectations and stuffs. good info man! got me really ready. hahaha. some jokes along the way too! Handed out room hotel keys after that! Surprisingly, all of us were rather disappointed INITIALLY.  This was what all of us thought which we'll be bunking in! nice right... the appearance of this concrete resort was really attractive man! But!We got this instead!  Kampong!  Outside view.  Nice sea view man! Haha, all of us were sighing when we knew we got this hotel. Hahaha, but it turned out that we enjoyed these away-from-civilisation-hotel-rooms! it was freaking fun! hahha as you can see, these kampong houses are so near one another, and for this camp thingie, we booked the entire 5 levels(around 8 rooms per level)! and sadly, mine was LEVEL5, THE VERY VERY LAST ROOM. hahah, not that sad afterall, i always had to climb those damn steep mountains, and i really mean steeeeeep and lonnnnnggggg. by the time i finished every meal and managed to get back to the resort rooms, i had more or less digested my foods.LOL.  Gay Slopes.  Yeah,that gay. the roof at the far end was the lobby! Definitely not ideal for elderly to bunk in those rooms. And yeah man, initially we were so afraid there wouldnt be any aircon! but with a sigh of relief, there is lah. hahaha and we spam the aircon for 4 DAYS STRAIGHT, TURNING OFF THE AIRCON OCCASSIONALLY FOR 1-2 HOURS( in any case the air con breaks down!) hahaa. damn shiok. the most irritating part was definitely the mosquitos lah. LUCKILY I'M A HARDCORE MOSQUITO KILLER. *PIAK*PIAK*PIAK* i think i murdered like 20+ AIDES MOSQUITOES for the 4days. and their blood stains are so strong&macho, it doesnt goes off our hands, even with tissues.yes, you can imagine how fat these freaking flies are. yeaps, this's my resort room!  The one on the right is my bed!  Yeah THE TV! THERE'S ESPN!phew!~ managed to catch the champion league matches:) i saw manu won besiktas 1-0 in batam:):) VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. hahahaha  SWEE RIGHT. Saw the balcony at the end? guess wad?  There's a FRUITBAT!! hahaha, call me ballless or wadsoever, i didnt dare to get outside the balcony for most of the time.hahhaa, i was so bastard, i took the touchlight and shone on it in the night & it started flipping its bloody wing vigourously and flew away!! hahahah. couldnt believe i saw a bat with my naked eyes lah.LOL. Had Rafting for our 1st activity! Rafting was really difficult man! didnt managed to snap any pictures for this activity coz our camera was far behind on shore as this was held near the sea(in any case the water seeped into the camera.) Our design look like it was workable lah, but it turned out that it was very unstable.haha. yes, we CAPSIZED. good experience though. lots of hardwork tying the damn nylons strings to the barrels and poles. didnt managed to get out to sea which was probably our only regret:( had a debrief session and all of us jumped into the pool! we brough sand and seawater into the pool! haha. damn evil right! after each activity was my fav! IT'S MAKAN TIME! lol, buffet style. aisehhh. Yeah lah, w/o saying, i was the one who ate the most.UNABLE TO STOP MAN, LIKE SERIOUSLY.  Dining area:) Ok, time to summarize things up for the other 2 activities. Day 2, 16september! we had Jungle treaking! wooooo! i had fun man! invading the forest infested with MOSQUITOS. i was probably way wicked sick/owning inside. LOL. the steep slopes, the muddy swamp, the satisfaction when we reached the top of the mountain! our leader lead us through the forest, reading the compass and maps. i'll be so dead if i was to lead lah. hahaha. i caught no balls reading the map, with insanse contours and that compass! the needle's always turning! haha, havent receive any photos for the jungle treaking, shall post it when i recevied it! 3rd day, 17sept! our last activity was PAINTBALL! wooooo! this was probably the SHIOK-EST, FUN-NEST,ENJOYABL-EST, wadever you can say! live firing paintballs. was a short activity man, coz it was the most expensive! had only 30 ammos and i finished it within a while. dont know if i managed to shoot any one of my opponent group in the game coz it was quite a distance. kinda of loserish when i headed to the exit coz i ran out of ammo, and i had to lift the paintball "rifle" up and walk out of the battlefield! hahaha, was really fun man!  Entrace of the jungle!  Battlefield!!  Hehe, able to guess which of them is me? Yeah, reallly fun activity man! i wanna try again! WITH MORE AMMOS! Had GALA NIGHT 09' in the night! HIGH MAN!! Dance floor, games and forfeits! LOL! And i had my very first alcohol! TEQUILLA SHOT! power! got me super hot and raring to go. danced with the girls. didnt really got grind lah. hahahah, damn high, i think i was partially drunk, but managed to keep myself sober. WOOTS. i wanna try again! Tequilla rocks! Last programme for the night and we had gambling session open-for-all in bal's room. played daidi till 2am till i was unable to withstand anymore. CLIMB THE DAMN SLOPES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT SOMEMORE, BAL'S ROOM WAS LEVEL 2! ZZZ, 3 LEVELS OF SLOPES. hahhaha. Last day! 18th sept:( Had breakfast at9am, Checked out at 10am! headed to central batam mega mall for shopping. hahahaha. the RUPIAHS' WERE SO HUGE IN AMOUNT, my brain mulfuntioned and the maths power in me just couldnt convert the rupiah amount in sing dollars. hahah. PLAYED ARCADE! freaking cheaappp! aorund 20-30cents per game. Spent 3k,($1=8K rupiah) hahha, how cheap right. finished touring the mall within 45 mins and sat/slack/chatted for 1 hour before gathering to head back to singapore! Had last meal with kenneth at vivo before heading home! Great trip, definitely memorable, especially with my roommates (Rahmat!), "neighbours" (Kenneth and Kabin) and Level 4 Neighbours,(Nyo, Qiangmeng & Kwang yi!) MY HECTIC WEEK FINALLY CAME TO AN END! Seriously worn out man! so this was my schedule: MONDAY:Trip down for briefing1 for camp! TUESDAY: Trip down to school again for briefing2. Sentosa for poly outing!went for Charrier's bday dinner! WEDNESDAY:Nights/dinner with steffi!(back from seattles) THURSDAY: SOCCER SESSION(WOOOOOOOOOO) FRIDAY:Teacher's House at balestier!OMGAWDS. SATURDAY: FREE. EPL SHOWDOWN. SUNDAY:maybe gyming/bballing. but gonna be going joochiat/amk for crab! wahahaha. excitement.:D yeah. time pass really quickly everyday when you're busy ttm. and my body clock is so screwed, i slept at 3-4am daily and waking up between 12-2pm. anyway. finished this 搜神傳 within 2 days. not particularly impressive, but was a nice drama. i think other deity dramas are probably better than this. was rather pissed with Monday's briefing. it was NONSENSE. called us back to school for some crap talk about leadership qualities. the same things here and there. zzz. hadnt had such talks since i left secondary school. BAD EXPERIENCE. tuesday's briefing was much of a relief, with them giving us relevant informations about the camp.i got the camp itinery! i cant believe i'm going to play PAINTBALL. other activities are rafting and jungle treaking. hmmp, sounds interesting and appealing to me!:D and i think the hotel we're bunking in is some 5 star hotel in batam. (I THINK) gonna have this gala night too! FOOOOD!!!:D:D:D but might be missing Manu's champion league match on wednesday night against besiktas:(\ hahah, backtrack. poly outing @ sentosa was fun! volleyball is indeed a really painful sport.LOL. i rather myself being zham-ed during soccer than constantly wacking the volleyball against my hand.vivian's really impressive man! headed down to charrier's bday celebration at suntec. dined at pepper lunch, though i went scouting for other dinings. man! SIAM kitchen caught my attention with the buffet! but was turned down by the girls.LOL finished our meal within 1/2 hour but camwhore-d and making lots of noise for like 2 hours.LOL. i bet the staffs must be really pissed with us. hahaha met steffi!!! she's back from Seattles man! i wanna experience her life! dined at terra cafe! chatted and played really fun and new games to me. ahaha. the animal game was cool! caught up with steffi about her life and stuffs and i'm really envious.LOL. all the best steffi!:D '& i love the indomie again!:D thursday! hahahahhaha overslept and was late for soccer. organiser was FIRGGING pissed coz most of us(including me) was late for 1 3/4hours.LOL!! lost my soccer form, kinda sad. but i bagged in a couple of goals. not bad ehhh! i'm a defender siol. lunch-ed at 4.30 and went home:D friday! visited, or rather, ms ng invited us to her house! was previously amazed by her DVDs during my first trip, so wasnt that amazed during my trip there the 2nd time. treated us KFC.:D had this addidas sales in the balestier mall. OMG. i regretted that i didnt insist to go back and have another look! it's so cheap!!!!!!!:( haha, besides that, headed up to her place. Charrier went crazy with all her IT gadgets, ranging from macbooks-imac-7 dvd players-stylo stereo system-countless number of SHOWS. needless to say, we had MOVIE MARATHON! omg, that was the first time, that i was sick of movie after 4 hours of planting my ass on the sofa. watched "The Guardian", one darn cool and vulgar show, "Letters of Iwo Jima"(beginning only though) and "2 and a half man". man, they catch the jokes from 2 1/2 man so quickly! i am jealous! hahahaha. stopped them from laughing and kept asking questions about the jokes.LOL. slow sia me. had tzichar for dinner!:D saturday, finally not leaving home. REST. shiok. anyway. Manu just won tottenham:D with 10men somemore:D chelsea had that slice of LUCK again. bagging the winning goal at the nick of death. zzzzz Over budget this week! spent like $80. no joke. travelling to and fro was already a killer. i want my 45c bus fare back:( probably going to m'sia on monday and bataming on tuesday till fri! Dined at Fish&Co and I ate alot. I even made fun of the newbie. I ate the cake and I got so thirsty, asked for water and the newbie took very long. So, I went for self-service instead. My hands smelled yucky because I squeezed lemons. OHOH, I ORDERED PLATTER OK! YUMMY!  Took a group photo and home-ed. I was scared on my way back home and insisted Clems to accompany me because I got chills down my spine when I heard bt those stories. Eh, 7th month right! Ok, byebye. Edited. 28AUGUST! Exams are coming to an end! YES. I finally managed to sneak some time out from my hardcore revisions. I've never put in so much effort since Os. MST was crap and Term 1 SEM came so within a blink of an eye. As fast as i hope the exams will not be arriving so soon during lectures, the exams are coming to an end!:D There're 2 tests and 3 SEM. 5 in total!:( -IT Events -Design&Drawing -LAWI -Facilities Construction -Materials and deco(UNDONE) yeah.These dumb exams stretch for 3 weeks! man,it's taking a toll in my life. As far as I'm concerned, i suddenly had to urge to go shopping. Frankly, the last time i went to Orchard was.....4E2's class BBQ?! Not to mention my MISSING SOCCER SESSIONS& BASKETBALL Sessions(hahah surprised right?!LOL) OMG, I'M WAITING FOR 31STAUGUST to come so badly. NOT FOR TEACHER'S DAY.BUT THE DAY FOR MY FREEDOM AND TO LIBERATE MYSELF FROM MUGGING SESSIONS. arghh. on a lighter side, Exams have gone rather smoothly for me. Law retains its secured position as my largest concern. Though i believe i did much much better than my term 1 TEST, but i did at least screw up the 2nd part of each question in section C. Studied law like... 1 MONTH before exams came?! writing notes after every lecture and taming myself to plant my ass on the chair and start memorising legal languages like a typical nerd. &! KEEPING MYSELF AWAY FROM FOOTBALLMANAGER was probably my greatest achievement! man, technology is a major source of distraction!:( & i feel much more confident for D&D paper, at least, that it would be within my "achiev-ability" to secure a B! I'm really starting to ponder how some kid managed to get some sick 4.0GPA and setting their targets as AD. Thats kinda sick right? anyway, I think i'll fail the IT paper as i didnt managed to do the majority of the photoshop component( TO MY REGRET). I'll never forget how happy-go-lucky i was a day before, playing FM09 the entire day and only reading and fiddling out with web expression, illustrator and photoshop for 2 hours in the night?!regretted this act man. PHOTOSHOP'S WEIGHTAGE WAS 50% OF THE PAPER OMGAWD.GAH! The allocation of mark is so unfair now that i recap about it. webexpression requires one whole chunk of never ending steps, importing infinity pictures... anything you can list out under the sun, and i weigh 25% only! hahhaha, yeah i'm one-sided coz i didnt managed to do photoshop!! ALRIGHT. enough of exams. TEACHER'S DAY ON 31ST, YES I'M GOING! 8.30-10.30am! have this intention of buying like DONUTS for all the graduating classes' teachers! haha provided we share the cost amongst the clique coz there'll be like, omgawd i cant count now. hahaha. AND! I'll never forget that breathtaking afternoon on 26/09/09 when Jiaming pulled a prank on me.I've to admit, when i heard that he won the tix for 2 to catch a match between Liverpool and Manu, I totally lost my sense and mind and i totally didnt expected it to be a prank at all. In such bizzare coincidence, i stumbled upon that Manu phamplet sent by singtel stating, if you purchased this Manu perfume, then you'l...... YESH. I LOST MY SANE AND SOBER MIND WHEN JIAMING SAY HE WON THE TIX BECAUSE HE SAW THIS PHAMPLET AND JOINED TOO. GAHHHH. how dumb can i be. hahahha but nvm, it was a good laugh and definitely, a MEMORY I would keep forever.:) BEWARE JIAMING, 31ST AUG ONLY. Haven been blogging for some time alr! school's been very hectic as usual... and SEMESTRAL EXAMS is just like 10 days away. SHUCKS. i'm looking forward to 31 AUG man.. though it's still some time away. exams module are terrible. LAW; DESIGN & DRAWING; FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION; MATERIALS AND DECORATION; IT FOR EVENTS. EEEEEEEW. i'm so gonna force myself to aim for at least a B for all man. i dun wanna go thru the failing feelings again. it was terrible. i guess mugging now will more or less save me. anw: 1)my CDC/CCC application was approved! yesh! i got 1.2k! 2) all major projects&presentation are over! left with a couple of group work... 3)Never-Ending-Reflections are almost finished...... ALMOST.... 4)I got selected for this leadership camp during september to BATAM!! wahahha kinda excited... 5)have been spending too much money on food. (expenses in poly--due to food and transport, skyrocketed and i find it hard to manage myself. haha) 6)I FINALLY GOT THE HANG OF ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR! 7)I'm gonna get my new MANU JERSEY SOON! 8)I'm having the trend of getting myself embarrased with a series of very UNFORTUNATELY events happening at me. hahahaha(fushionpolis sucks). 9) screwed up my D&D mock test.. 10) ps-ing daphne's running session. OPPS. though we gotta stop due to insufficient time of 24 hours a day. 11) feel that my english is deproving big time.. just have this god damn feeling with proven evidence that i stumbled upon easy words and mispronouncing certain words... sigh. shucks. too many things happening at one time man. and! i just got Astronomy's poly50 ranking.. 70+ place i think.. haha NOT BAD LA.... LOL. and i wanna share my Illustrator picts! bloody hell. i took 4 hours plus to do these(including soccerneting, skysportsing,espnstar-ing, facebooking... haha)! WOW, to my surprise, i totally forgot about my blog. hahahaha. School's been good/not good definitely. anw, i was GUTTED to miss the 2 matches that Manu went to malaysia for their preseason friendlies.MALAYSIA ONLY OMGAWD .__________. it was on a sat(i was working dumex) and tdy when i ended school at 5pmT.T hehe, but owen scored 2 goals in 2 matches! :D:D been coping with my modules well, except for the same old draggy law which i seriously have no idea why i cant do those qns. it's not as difficult as amaths, just that there's much much more memorization work. PISSED OFF. 'been asked to redo my tutorials coz i screwed it up totally. IT illustrator is going alright for me, another module which i feared. PHOTOSHOP is a gonner. I still need lots of practise for drawing manzxzxzxz. :( anw, there's hell lots of bday recently omg. clem's, kelly's adelina's, jiaming's soon! haha, and! met up with fransiska and reagina for sakae lunch buffet with clem. Enjoyed the 2 hours with all of us dying of hunger when we arrived, and grapsing for breathe when we left. haha. i'll never forget how all of us got so greedy(especially siska!) with her tamagoesss wacking. hahaha. without even the need to mention, i was definitely the one who ate the most la. they refused to give me my last KANI chawamushi order. haha. speaking of KANI, it was so wrong when i said it. i stared at it twice before saying it la. LOL. See! i'm a guy who doesnt speak vulgarities ok.. haha. and! played badminton with classmates after school last friday! saw shuzhen at the busstop and went home tgt. TGT OK. i'm damn good. ahha.stop shooting me assholes. and we're going to have a "sports-day"/ week! yay. this week's gonna be volleyball and next week shall be my domination week. wahahhaa.SOCCER! OF COZ! my HOLIDAYS ARE BURNT. finally, all the trips are over. OVER. i spent $30 on transportation in just 1 1/2 weeks man. i'm so broke. 1) went to mb for a final site racee to refresh our memory and sort out of job duties for the actual day itself. found out tthat i was the amazing race I/C. had alot of confusion at the point in time. went to tampinese to have a FINAL discussion about the activites we're gonna do for the ONOW thingie. Transportation fee. 2)Finally finished our ONOW event thingie which was to plan a trip to MB for tampinese cdac children.was quite fun playing with them and my teammates were cooperative too! went to expo for some cg overdrive event for our project, and headed to changi airport for popeye chicken. the trip to and fro was so long. omg.zzz Transportation fee. 3)went to marina barrage too (for the 4th and 5th time, omg) and it's definitely my last time there man. the 2 days event was quite nonsensical to me. yeah, though i managed to finally experience some exposure to such events, but all we did was saikang, SAIkang, and more SAIKANG. gahh, not gonna elaborate much. lunch was quite good btw.OPPS. amazing race was omg.aint gonna elaborate. but let me show you the route i took during the 4 hours game. City Hall Mrt---> City Link--->Marina Square--->Singapore Flyer-->One Fullerton--->Esplanade--->City Link---> Marina Barrage. WOOTS! AND I WALKED OK. WALKED. how incredible.besides the part which i took mrt to Marina Bay Mrt. yeah, Transportation fee again... haha. it may seems quite little, but the trips to hospital, soccer sessions and meetups accumulated to quite a sum man. everything is finally over and the last week of hols was actually meant for my revision week. yeah, but this word, PROCRASTINATE, just overwhelmed me. i intended to bloody read up on my law. sigh. and play with that photoshop thingie.(no fun though) and some other modules which are just bothering me la. went for law remedial today and it turned out that there're only 2 ATTENDEES. me and christina.
