Life's bad ): I'M FINANCIALLY STRETCHEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. $50/ week for school allowance seems so little to me now. Everything really involves money. $50- Bus concession $27- Soccer (1st half of the season) $30- Soccer ( 2nd half of the season) $10- Soccer ( to buy balls) $20- Buffet (soon to be, buffet with soccer teammates) $10- Wakeboarding camp (haven decide yet though, but seems like i must go) $45- Wakeboard Shirts (Should I?) $20- Friends outing? Expected amount spent:$212? HAHAHAHA. I'm some broke shit wanna be. Speaking of which, i tried out the Wakeboard Winch thing during SP CCA showcase and it was damn fun! Got me really thinking of going for the real wakeboarding session out @ punggol sea, but the cost of $55/session is some major stumbling block. darn it. i'm extremely fickle minded): Was quite stressed up with lots of wakeboarding stuffs too. acquisition of shirt and to go, or not to go for the camp? Besides the amount payable, the main reason behind my delay is due to the Soccer league match on weekends! Though not indispensable, i wanna play as many games as possible and earn that experience! YAY! i'm finally back from all my overseas trip and there's only 1 word to describe both experiences--> SUPERB! Hongkong trip was FABULOUTASTIC man. Yes, no need to be surprised. there i go again, munching down the godilicious food into my stomach. I think my digestive juice was quite strong uh, 5 days w/o stopping with 4 meals per day. wahahaha! Though i was constantly eating, i was feeling sick even in the 1st day into the trip alr. The terrible combination of nausea feeling accumulated from the plane flight from S'pore to HK, together with the bumby and jerky mountainous route up to the peak, with several steep contours, i always died in the bus. Landed in Hk around 2+ and left the airport only till 4+, after settling the admin stuffs and waiting for the coach's arrival. To only make matter worst, the HAZE was BAD. REAL BAD. it was the worst in HK's history and this only accelerated my puking further up my throat. Ironically, feeling so worn out by all those shit sickness, we went for DINNER!! had dinner at stanley market's CHARCHANTING! ordered milktea(^^) and Chicken with pineapple fried rice. FABULOUS MAN. Succulent Chicken meats with juicy pineapple and fragrant yellow rice!(Y) Headed to The Peak after that. Night view was OHSOBRILLIANT! was quite windy up there and the chilly wind was just perfect for me. My fats were working well. teeheheeheehe. took the tram down to lowland and that was end of day 1's adventure!   ---FASTFORWARD--- Headed back to our hotel, Regal Oriental Hotel(Fu Hou Jiu Dian)(4 STAR!)   and our room was large! there's this resting area too! kinda cool man.     AND NO SURPRISE, I WENT BACK TO HOTEL TO PUKE.LOL. puked big time and i chocked the toilet bowl and basin. wtheck. called the plumber in and he couldnt solve the problem! hahaha. Even the food that goes into my stomach, blended with my digestive juice, are simply too strong! muscular rice^^ Managed to solve the problem though. he need reinforcement tools to salvaged the chocked pipes.hahaha. Caught this in hk too! LOVE IT!  hahahha loser chelsea:D And yeah, since it was the first day and we're all ever-so-excited about the food in Hk, we ventured out way to the streets(Kowloon City) next to our hotel and had deserts! had Honeydew DouFu Hua and was kinda bland. Not the best available ones in HK! but the mango sago was damn good man! and it was cheaper! regrets regrets!  went back to hotel and played cards. MADE WAY TOO MUCH NOISE WITH ALL THE LAUGHTERS AND SCREAMINGS. we got too overly paranoid while playing and it was really noisy man. ahhaha some other SP mates knocked on our door, trying to check out wtheck were we doing. Night ended at around 2am and nights off! knocked out! Day 2! Headed off to Disneyland after hotel's buffet breakfast(yipppie!) wasnt as bad as all the negative comments that i heard about hk's disneyland though. almost similar to Japan's one, just that it's much smaller.  Went for almost all the rides since it was rather small and we spent more time in the souvenirs shops more than going for rides! the girls were spamming gifts like it was free! hahaha. but i restrained myself, didnt want to spend so much so that i'll have more money for food!^^ bought this damn lovely Donald Duck mug though. HK$80 and i STOPPED for the day. dilly dallied till 730pm before heading to the castle for the fireworks display! fireworks somehow blended in well together with the various fairytales songs and was very entertaining to me, since i'm been a all-time admirer for fireworks! Left disneyland at 8, since it was closing and went back to hotel to settle down our bags and more bags of gifts and souvenirs( well, 80% were the girls'.LOL) and YES! DINNER TIME! and YES!YES! it's DIMSUM TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we were all famished, and i really meant FAMISHED. took the menu and i led the ordering. with my substandard canto skills, we ordered: SIEWMAI X2 HARKOW X2 CHARSIEWBAO CHEONGFUN SPRINGROLL HARKOK Some yam thingie LORMAIKAI XIAOLONGBAO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! and there was only 4 of us!!! and heheehhehe, i ate the most fullstop and 1 can of coke is only HK$5!!! was like the cheapest i saw in hk la. damn it. should have stored coke in our hotel rooms. despite filling my stomach almost to the max, there was always room for more:) bought this thick chocolate-vanilla icecream at 7-11 and it was HK$6. BIG, THICK CHOCOLATE AND DELICIOUS. totally worth every penny for that stick of edible desert man!! yeahyeah. went back hotel, lepak abit and ZONKED OUT. Day 3! went to Oceanpark after buffet breakfast again! same food and the omelette was great! cheese, ham, onion and mushroom only enhanced the taste and brought it up to the next level man. had a talk by one of the marketing directors about how they managed to keep OceanPark "alive" during the period when the Disneyland opened and the means and ways to continue attracting tourists and customers. quite a interesting talk, though i dozed off in some part coz i simply cant keep my eyes open. some of the videos which were shown to us were quite hilarious too and managed to grabs hold of my attention. Had a mini "tour" around oceanpark, with the staffs showing us the daily work done for the panda and how they trained the aligators(cool or whut!?) to listen to their orders. played the rides there and the scariest was the mine train! AND I OUGHT TO SHARE THIS WITH YOU!!!  F.R.I.E.N.D.S season 1! Yeahyeah, call me a slowpoke. but this show if hilarious and i grew hysterical over it within 1 episode alr! Be sure to watch all over again. Phoebe's cool and Rachael's irrisistably hot. Still midway into season 1 though, but i'm gonna finish the 10 seasons within this holiday man. I'm currently into these american series show, surprisingly. another show which is a must catch is GLEE! its a mixture of highschool musical types, but 200X better than that. The choreography and vocal are great!! and featuring glee cast!  I NEED TIME FOR MY HONGKONG DRAMAS TOO. WHATTHEHECK. @ 3:04 AM

EXAMS.ARE.OVER. OMG.Like finally, i really get to enjoy this break till 20th april! i think i did average-ly fine for all my modules besides GEMs, coz i couldnt be bothered to flip thru' any notes uh. Genting trip is CONFIRMED. this trip was postponed from 09 till today! i think we're kinda zai. there're 5 people going only and heck, i'm gonna enjoy myself there. $180 for 3 days in genting and 1 day in KL. kinda alright uh? gonna spam photos, alcohol hopefully and definitely food fest, as usual. haha. Right after a day from genting, i'm HEAD TO HONGKONG! omgggg i'm friggin excited too! DIMSUMS:D Disneyland! OceanPark! the last time i went dated all the way back to P3! Kinda long uh! AND! i'm kinda in a soccer field team(!?) hahaha i cant play field soccer for nuts though, but just gonna go there and kick some balls. '& i just finished duck noodle and dimsum at 1am. KILLME. suddenly, i'm overwhelmed by my emotions. things haven been heading towards my preference lately and its finally time for me to face the undesired truth that i've been trying to escape from. to think others take it just so easily to achieve that, i am really dumbfounded. its myself that i must get over with. the stess level is definitely near its optimum and i seriously dread it. wait, who doesnt? To think bout this, i've been living in self denial. its quite scary to realise only after 17 years of living. not gonna elaborate more about what happened for the last sem of year 1, but its unquestionably not as smooth sailing as i would haven expected. hiccups, hurdles & obstacle. not the best of posts to start off with after going AWOL for almost a sem, but this seems to be the perfect place for me to vent my disappointment & frustration.

BATAM TRIP 15-18Sept! YES! I'M BACK FROM THE BATAM TRIP. IT WAS HELL FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had hell lots of new experiences, the activities, the crapness, the crankyness and th 60+new friends which i made in 3 days. AWESOME! 15th SEPTEMBER Met up at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Was feeling awkard at the beginning coz i only know kelly and justin ong. things started to warm up and we chatted for 1 hour before entering the gantry & our journey began! anw, i hate seasick. the floating platform was freaking shaky and i had that nausea feeling for that entire gay 30mins trip. haha Departure:  Nyo!Dylan!Justin!Joshua!  cool guys man! REACHED BATAM headed for the 1st briefing!  Sucky steep slopes!>:(  Hotel Lobby!  Hotel Lobby! headed for the 1st briefing! conducted by DD(?), he told us the various activities which we'll be trying out and the expectations and stuffs. good info man! got me really ready. hahaha. some jokes along the way too! Handed out room hotel keys after that! Surprisingly, all of us were rather disappointed INITIALLY.  This was what all of us thought which we'll be bunking in! nice right... the appearance of this concrete resort was really attractive man! But!We got this instead!  Kampong!  Outside view.  Nice sea view man! Haha, all of us were sighing when we knew we got this hotel. Hahaha, but it turned out that we enjoyed these away-from-civilisation-hotel-rooms! it was freaking fun! hahha as you can see, these kampong houses are so near one another, and for this camp thingie, we booked the entire 5 levels(around 8 rooms per level)! and sadly, mine was LEVEL5, THE VERY VERY LAST ROOM. hahah, not that sad afterall, i always had to climb those damn steep mountains, and i really mean steeeeeep and lonnnnnggggg. by the time i finished every meal and managed to get back to the resort rooms, i had more or less digested my foods.LOL.  Gay Slopes.  Yeah,that gay. the roof at the far end was the lobby! Definitely not ideal for elderly to bunk in those rooms. And yeah man, initially we were so afraid there wouldnt be any aircon! but with a sigh of relief, there is lah. hahaha and we spam the aircon for 4 DAYS STRAIGHT, TURNING OFF THE AIRCON OCCASSIONALLY FOR 1-2 HOURS( in any case the air con breaks down!) hahaa. damn shiok. the most irritating part was definitely the mosquitos lah. LUCKILY I'M A HARDCORE MOSQUITO KILLER. *PIAK*PIAK*PIAK* i think i murdered like 20+ AIDES MOSQUITOES for the 4days. and their blood stains are so strong&macho, it doesnt goes off our hands, even with tissues.yes, you can imagine how fat these freaking flies are. yeaps, this's my resort room!  The one on the right is my bed!  Yeah THE TV! THERE'S ESPN!phew!~ managed to catch the champion league matches:) i saw manu won besiktas 1-0 in batam:):) VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. hahahaha  SWEE RIGHT. Saw the balcony at the end? guess wad?  There's a FRUITBAT!! hahaha, call me ballless or wadsoever, i didnt dare to get outside the balcony for most of the time.hahhaa, i was so bastard, i took the touchlight and shone on it in the night & it started flipping its bloody wing vigourously and flew away!! hahahah. couldnt believe i saw a bat with my naked eyes lah.LOL. Had Rafting for our 1st activity! Rafting was really difficult man! didnt managed to snap any pictures for this activity coz our camera was far behind on shore as this was held near the sea(in any case the water seeped into the camera.) Our design look like it was workable lah, but it turned out that it was very unstable.haha. yes, we CAPSIZED. good experience though. lots of hardwork tying the damn nylons strings to the barrels and poles. didnt managed to get out to sea which was probably our only regret:( had a debrief session and all of us jumped into the pool! we brough sand and seawater into the pool! haha. damn evil right! after each activity was my fav! IT'S MAKAN TIME! lol, buffet style. aisehhh. Yeah lah, w/o saying, i was the one who ate the most.UNABLE TO STOP MAN, LIKE SERIOUSLY.  Dining area:) Ok, time to summarize things up for the other 2 activities. Day 2, 16september! we had Jungle treaking! wooooo! i had fun man! invading the forest infested with MOSQUITOS. i was probably way wicked sick/owning inside. LOL. the steep slopes, the muddy swamp, the satisfaction when we reached the top of the mountain! our leader lead us through the forest, reading the compass and maps. i'll be so dead if i was to lead lah. hahaha. i caught no balls reading the map, with insanse contours and that compass! the needle's always turning! haha, havent receive any photos for the jungle treaking, shall post it when i recevied it! 3rd day, 17sept! our last activity was PAINTBALL! wooooo! this was probably the SHIOK-EST, FUN-NEST,ENJOYABL-EST, wadever you can say! live firing paintballs. was a short activity man, coz it was the most expensive! had only 30 ammos and i finished it within a while. dont know if i managed to shoot any one of my opponent group in the game coz it was quite a distance. kinda of loserish when i headed to the exit coz i ran out of ammo, and i had to lift the paintball "rifle" up and walk out of the battlefield! hahaha, was really fun man!  Entrace of the jungle!  Battlefield!!  Hehe, able to guess which of them is me? Yeah, reallly fun activity man! i wanna try again! WITH MORE AMMOS! Had GALA NIGHT 09' in the night! HIGH MAN!! Dance floor, games and forfeits! LOL! And i had my very first alcohol! TEQUILLA SHOT! power! got me super hot and raring to go. danced with the girls. didnt really got grind lah. hahahah, damn high, i think i was partially drunk, but managed to keep myself sober. WOOTS. i wanna try again! Tequilla rocks! Last programme for the night and we had gambling session open-for-all in bal's room. played daidi till 2am till i was unable to withstand anymore. CLIMB THE DAMN SLOPES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT SOMEMORE, BAL'S ROOM WAS LEVEL 2! ZZZ, 3 LEVELS OF SLOPES. hahhaha. Last day! 18th sept:( Had breakfast at9am, Checked out at 10am! headed to central batam mega mall for shopping. hahahaha. the RUPIAHS' WERE SO HUGE IN AMOUNT, my brain mulfuntioned and the maths power in me just couldnt convert the rupiah amount in sing dollars. hahah. PLAYED ARCADE! freaking cheaappp! aorund 20-30cents per game. Spent 3k,($1=8K rupiah) hahha, how cheap right. finished touring the mall within 45 mins and sat/slack/chatted for 1 hour before gathering to head back to singapore! Had last meal with kenneth at vivo before heading home! Great trip, definitely memorable, especially with my roommates (Rahmat!), "neighbours" (Kenneth and Kabin) and Level 4 Neighbours,(Nyo, Qiangmeng & Kwang yi!) And lastly, the wonderful memories within our group, Bernard!(LEADER!) Kabin! Dana! Joesph! Widya! Qomarul! Dylan! 7man gang!:)  |
